Abstract

Drug allergies and the risk factors that go along with them are examined in this study. Since drug allergies can result in a variety of adverse responses, some of which may be severe or even fatal, they pose a serious therapeutic problem. Improving patient safety and helping medical professionals prescribe drugs more efficiently require an understanding of the underlying reasons and the identification of those who are more at risk.
This study looks on drug allergies in patients in the Holy Province of Karbala as well as the risk factors that go along with them. It seeks to ascertain the frequency of drug allergies, pinpoint the most prevalent medicines that cause them, as well as any clinical symptoms, and investigate any connections to other risk factors like lifestyle, the use of multiple medications and medical and family history. Additionally, the study assesses the impact of drug allergies on patient outcomes, treatment choices, and hospitalization rates.
